I have decided to feature a new daily column that covers numerous topics. There are many things I have a strong opinion on and dont have enough on them to make into a whole column, so this is my new solution.
Expect these to come out at a faster rate than before. My last one wasnt since almost a week ago and I apologize. I have had a TON of school work, busy with other things, I was sick of the week, and there really hasnt been much news going on.
I hope you get your fix from today’s dose.

-The Moscow Mawler

Its apparent that upcoming Russian WWE star Vladimir Kozlov in the process of a gigantic push. I am happy about it honestly. I know a lot of you guys dislike Vladimir Kozlov but I like him but dont love him. I love the gimmick, a foreign wrestler that is a an indestructible monster in the ring, similiar to the boxer Rocky Balboa fought in the Soviet Union in Rocky IV. I like him inside the ring and I think he is a very good in ring technician. The only thing that brings me down on him a little bit on him is his “look”. I think he looks a little too goofy for the gimmick he is personifying to be taken as serious as WWE wants him to be taken by the fans. I know “look” means a lot in WWE but obviously WWE likes this guy A LOT. I really like him as well and am glad to see this guy getting a push. I think someone new and fresh entering main event status is always good because it shakes things up and brings you newer fresher feuds at the top with more competition for the title. I cant stress how much freshness at the top of the company is a GREAT thing.

-CM Got Punk’d

If anybody in the company has a legit reason for complaining, it is definitely CM Punk. CM got a major push and jumped into superstardom winning the World title. Was it all for nothing though? It actually may have been better for Punk if this came later down the road. CM was fresh and new as champion and it drew ratings but the title reign for Punk was very dissapointing. Punk was placed in bad programs throughout his saga as champion. I dont think Batista, JBL, or Kane were the kind of guys he should have had title matches with. I really think it could have been much more successful with Randy Orton or Chris Jericho. Then, they drop the title with him not even competing in the loss and then to top it all off, they just drop him from title contention all together. Punk definitely deserved better and got robbed. I dont have a problem so much with him feuding with the Simply Priceless stable but have him feud for the title with Randy Orton in a World Title feud instead of him feuding with the lesser guys in DiBiase and Rhodes.

-The Incredible Hulk

There has been some speculation that Hulk Hogan may be eyeing a return to wrestling and possibly even another stint in WWE. I know a lot of you have beef with Hulk Hogan and dont want to see him return but I dont mind. Bring on Hulk Hogan all day long. In my opinion, he is the greatest professional wrestler of all-time. I dont think Hogan should overdo it just to do it, I think he should come back if it is legitimate and doesnt hurt his overall legacy like his last run as Mr. America almost did. I still think Hogan could have some good programs with stars like Umaga, The Great Khali, and most notably Vladimir Kozlov where they could playout a USA vs. Russia type of deal. I think Hogan and Kozlov would be a good program. You could even throw him in there with a program with the Next Generation stable and do another go around with Randy Orton, who has openly expressed some interest in having another go around with The Hulkster. I like Hogan and I will accept a GOOD return, as long as he doesnt pull a Ric Flair and annoy the hell out of me by sticking around too long.

-Rey Mysterio, Movie Star?

Rey Mysterio is letting it be known that he wants to be in consideration for future movie roles done by WWE Films. Rey Mysterio was seriously considering a jump to the Mexican wrestling promotion, AAA, which would have included some film roles as apart of the deal. Now is it just me or is Rey a moron? Rey’s whole persona revolves around something very important that seriously would hamper this persona if he made movies and that is taking off the mask and I believe that once it comes off, I dont think its possible for him to go back to it again. Sure, Rey did this in WCW and it was a huge mistake and Rey really didnt get over as much and wasnt nearly the star he is in WWE. I dont think there is anyway WWE is going to allow this to happen. It would drastically alter his popularity and would cause WWE to lose out on money from merchandise sales. The mask is superbly marketable and is something that really sells. I love Rey as a professional wrestler and love watching him in WWE but I think AAA would have been in his best interest if he is really serious about wrestling and acting.

-Cody Rhodes: Simply Dreaming

Cody Rhodes, one half of the World Tag Team Champions Simply Priceless along with Ted DiBiase Jr., recently stated in an interview with WWE Magazine that the WWE tag team division use to suck. News flash to Cody Rhodes, it still sucks. He goes on to say that since DiBiase and himself captured the titles at Night of Champions was a huge stepping stone and turning point in the direction of the tag team division on Raw. Why? Because they were actually DEFENDED? I mean come on, nothing has changed and it is still a VERY weak tag team division. The American Dream’s son is definitely dreaming. If you look, they are about one of only two tag teams on the Raw brand along with Cryme Tyme. I think if they would have carried that feud along a lot more than just one PPV to take up time on the card and actually carry it out while treating it more importantly like a singles feud, we could have had something. Now we are stuck with them feuding with upper midcard stars and pairing up them up which doesnt make the tag team division stronger by any means. Maybe add 2-3 more LEGIT, and I mean legit, tag teams and then we will talk.

i think the most entertaining thing was the titles of each story. lol, very entertaining over all though

Interesting Collumn I agree CM Punk’s title reign was to short and he didn’t really lose the title since he was not in the match. the big question is why have him win money in the bank in the first place if WWE Officals had no faith in him, to me that makes no sence what so ever. Punk competeing for the tag titles would have been better before wining the world title not after you lose the belt and don’t really get but one chance to fight for the world title again….it has been stated the ratings were up and steady with Punk as Champ and he was over with the Fans and as usual WWE looks the other way…I’ve been a fan of Punks for a while even before he came to WWE and he was screwed out of the title…a shame WWE doesn’t see a good thing when they have it.

Hey AstralDragon, the MITB was supposed to go to Jeff Hardy but he got suspended and WWE decided to push the button on Punk and give it to him. If you noticed, CM Punk jobbed almost every week up until he won the MITB too, its weird.

And almost every week afterwards until he cashed it in as well. lol
